I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and maintain a private practice in Anchorage. Alaska. I have been in private practice since 1988. Before that, I worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, beginning in 1982.
With over 25 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Master of Science in Psychology, I am currently working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are depression/anxiety, chronic illness, personal growth, insight/solutions, and Mindfulness and the Practice of Presence.
Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I support an accepting, compassionate focus on a return to our natural state of Well Being, through living in the present moment. I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to help clients resolve current problems or long standing ones. Helping clients find solutions to a wide range of challenges, through Mindful Living, I work with each client to help them build on their strengths, to identify and achieve life goals, and to regain Balance in all areas of their lives.
